what are the chances.... i mean seriously.... what are the chances...
so i was out playing pool with michelle at uni pub, played $32 worth of pool @ $2 a game... we were there a while! kassy calls to ask what i was up to and i informed her that i was on my way home... her dad (after speaking to me for about 30 mins the other day) asked her if she wanted to go see me this evening... kool - so she came over with her dad and her little brother, and we all decided to take elija down to the ovals to go running because he was hyperactive and he needed to do some running in order to sleep (hes 5). so we went running and eventually got a soccer ball out and were kicking a ball around the field and i asked marcus (her dad) if he played in a team, and he said yes - woden valley masters... :| THATS THE SAME TEAM AS MY DAD :| so the girl who i like and have been seeing for a little while, her dad is in a team with my dad....WTF.... out of every team in canberra, it had to be that one... i asked my dad when he got home and he knew exactly who i was talking about to! scary!
ah well, im going out to the city. enjoy

every1 goes to camp! i went to birragi and camp sturt, as well as the one about 12 hours north of canberra which had a rock range called the knife... the warrembungles or something??.

I used ot play drums, trumpet and keyboard.. not anymore though... but i dj so in some ways i do....

its addictive, and i love taking photos of fire and trying to capture strange shapes...

i actually cant remember when i cried from being upset... i had tears coming out of my eyes at the folk festival for 2 reasons - one time from smoke, but the other times were from laughing so much

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? – went to Barcelona.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? well i did for last year, and this year i plan to.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? yeah, a few friends from way back, and carly is due in like a week!

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? Motivation and resistance to temptation! i oculdnt help myself with jean! but this year i know where im at and what i want, so all i can say is im glad i gave into that temptation, but i shant be doing that again...
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? nov 17th - the day i broke up with Hayley on George st in Sydney after umming and arring about it for WAY TO LONG - i knew what i wanted, i just didnt have the heart to break hers... then i fianlly did!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? passing all my courses at uni, and getting a job at harvey norman - then exceeding all mine and my boss's expectations
9. What was your biggest failure? giving in to temptation with certain people (no not you - i know your reading this), and then screwing up a once very strong friendship
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? i got glandular the day before i went to europe to the point that the doc said it was so severe i shouldnt be able to walk! so i put my 35kg backpack on my back and jumped on a plane! haha. i was fine

What was the best thing you bought? the 75 records i bought in europe, they were all older and cant be bought anywhere! alot ive seen online advertised now for well of $100! and the most perfect round saphire pendant with an 18c gold loop holding the saphire which sits so perfectly around Jean's neck and sparkles!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? lots of peoples and on a side note - Kudos tp Belle's "you can have him" comment to Jean!
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? she knows exactly who she is without having to name names...
14. Where did most of your money go? records, phone credit, 5* Hotels in Sydney (Hyatt, Meriton, Accor, Hilton), the latest in technology, buying presents for people and of course the FUCKING TAX MAN.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? seeing Jean! every time i see her i get excited because shes been in and out on the ship for the last 2 months, and she will be for the next 3... so ill get to see her in phuket in feb!
16. What song will always remind you of 2006? way to many to choose from... but probably “Heartbeats – Jose Gonzalez or Young Folks – Peter Bjorn & John or When The Sun Goes Down – The Arctic Monkeys.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier? Hell yeah, this time last year I was overseas with Nikki, we had lost feelings for eachother and were only still together because we were on the architecture trip with uni, and it was just easier…

20. How will you be spending Christmas? I worked at the Hyatt… but for the pay they offered, who wouldn’t!.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I wanted to be home because I missed me friends and I was in Florence for my Bday… but I got a pretty good present to myself… I managed to buy 23 tickets to Oasis in Florence 2 days b4 my Bday! So that ROCKED!
32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Knowing that I had passed my uni courses and was earning enough money to live and save at the same time!.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? It changed depending on how I felt that day, I quiet often changed 3-4 times a day! But it ranged from really dark colours with a lot of black, to highly contrasting colours to bright stuff, but it was mostly all ‘Metro’ as my friends called my fashion style!
34. What kept you sane? My friends, family and the internet! – special mention to Kate and Steve Benge who were living here for ages and made life a lot easier and livable

Hell no, more happy then ever with my baby Jean! its a strange world.... would would have thought that i would be dating the girl i met 5 years ago when i was illegally clubbing at Insomnia at age 15! lol. was so unexpected... i had NO idea she had feelings for me - and she had no idea i had feelings for her!

dont think so... i like living at home atm... i get all the space, freedom and flexability that i need, also i have the coolest parents when it comes to friends staying here (steve lived here for a year and kate for 7 months! oh and hayley for 4)

well last year i was getting ready to go to europe on the 2nd, so that was my focus, then i changed alot when i got back because of uni and stuff, then i got a new job meaning that i couldnt go out every weekend etc, so i dated someone for the wrong reasons.... cos it was convinient... which i shouldnt have... so now i know what i want and i got it... so i can work on uni and stuff now :')

OK. team, this is the low down...
We're sussed the sound system in the Holy Grail and have decided not to use it. In cooperation with Elite Sound, we are installing 17kilowatts of crystal clean audio with 11K on the stage, 3K fill downstairs and 3K fill upstairs, creating a delicious, full bodied surround sound experience.
For lighting, we're doing fully rigged trussing in the roof, with 12 moving heads, hazers and miniscans to create a totally different look for each artist and style.
We have three video projectors with layered screens for a multilayered look on stage, with VJ wizards Jimmi, Zordon and R.T.F.M. (read the farking manual) generating video journeys, fractal geometries and original 3d graffix for interdimensional clubland story telling.
We will put a thrust on the stage for dancers and performers, and boy do we have some shows lined up for you... featuring angle grinding, martial arts and fire twirling from professional performers and shaman energy raisers Mercury, Kenny feather and Phoenix. These guys need to be seen to be believed.
We are thrilled to voodoo trance shamans the Web, who's exhiliarating trance dance performance has seen them sell over 60,000 albums independently over the past 5 years. This crew rise from the belly of Gaia, and are living proof we have some of the best artists in the world right here in Australia. Prepare to have your minds BLOWN...
Its a full 14 hours so we are creating an fenced outdoor area to accomodate an extra 200 people where you can eat, smoke and chill out. The Holy Grail will be serving a delicious full meal menu until late, so if you come early, you can sit down to enjoy a great meal and a cold drink. We will have a video projector set up outside, so you can still catch all the action...
